Beginning
May 1, 2009, the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act
of 2003 requires that all companies implement a policy to
notify all affected parties in the event of possible identity
theft or unauthorized access to personal and financial information.
RGC Resources, Inc. and Roanoke Gas Company have implemented
policies to minimize the possibility of any such violation
of confidentiality as well as procedures to limit any damage
that can be realized by any party resulting from any such
breach of security.
